This is in response to this sent from GGD Mod Kayla:

We want to prevent them from advertising it. A lot of very terrible things have been done over there, so we especially don’t want some of our new members dragged into it.

They viciously make fun of people here on GGD. There will often be entire threads dedicated to bashing someone. They also used to make memes of people on GGD, and some of the things they would say would actually be very mean. I remember they had a thing with Tiffa for a while and they made gifs of her getting hit by a bus and whatnot.

In addition to this, they believed they found Kirill on Facebook (he doesn’t have a FB…) and posted an article about it, “exposing” him, knowing very well he is a private person. Being completely disrespectful to the creator of this site and forum.

One of their mods has also: unfairly banned 2 people for speaking out against him, VOTED people off the site into a ban, and posted a gruesome picture of black men being lynched in an attempt to offend one of their black members.

Their FAQ also states that GGD mods infract/ban people of DD with bias, making it look like we are against people just because they’re on DD, which is completely false.
Speaking of GGD mods in relation to DD, there’s a part of the forum we can not even SEE, although we can sign up for everywhere else. (Which, obviously, is their way of saying: “We don’t actually want you here, but we still want you to see how much we hate you.” Very childish if you ask me.)
The place is, essentially, an anti-GGD forum.

Now. IF that place thinks they deserve to be mentioned on THIS place after all the crap they’ve pulled, then perhaps they should read all the above things I said and HOPEFULLY, if they have an ounce of common sense, they’ll understand the reason behind not allowing what is essentially an anti-GGD forum get talked about on GGD.

Feel free to send this to anyone else who questions why that place can’t be mentioned here.

Obviously not everyone at DD is a bad person, and there are a lot of things over there that are NOT negative in any way. But we don’t feel the good things justify the blatant disrespect of GGD and/or the members here that has occurred since the creation of that place.

 

I’d like to publicly address what she brings up here and my response to it all.  As you all know, the mods over at GGD (well just Kayla really) have decided to ban the word “DramaDaily”, so if you say the word at all it will replace it with “-”. This prevents us from linking people to DD over there, as well as prohibits us from using our immense library of smilies at GGD.  While we don’t really care much that they banned the word, it’s more of the fact that they would go to such lengths to really block us out. It’s flattering almost to me really, to know we mean so much to them regardless of what they say. We became the first banned word, before “Nigger” or even “Faggot”. Despite that they say – that they banned it because the content on our site (which is contradictory to what Kayla has said in the past, that they don’t try and police the internet), or because we advertise it (we never do, and I could still do it by using Tinyurl anyway); it was banned purely because of the post before this.

• Though I do find it amusing that Kayla herself told me DD was completely OK to advertise through PM and VM, and now she says it’s a problem.

I guess they got so pressed that we revealed Kirill’s identity, Kayla decided to “defend him” and get back at us in some way. Let me make this clear, I posted that about Kirill as purely a personal vendetta I have against him. It was meant to be mean spirited because I dislike him as a person (more on that another time). And we are DramaDaily after all, creating DRAMA is in our name.

• Oh and by the way Kayla, you are doing a terrible job at covering it up, saying Kirill does not have a Facebook. It’s too late to say such a thing when someone put the picture in their avatar and it was removed because “using a picture of GGD mod without permission”. K.

Let’s discuss exactly what we are. DramaDaily was formed (as stated in our FAQ) after the deletion of the No Holds Barred thread in GGD. That thread allowed users to say ANYTHING they wanted with complete promise they will not get infracted. It kept a balance in that forum that was necessary, so when it was gone it became necessary to create DramaDaily to replace it. Another thing mods seem to forget, this forum was completely, MeL’s idea (former GGD admin), and even I was against it to begin with. MeL completely supported DD and even advertised it in a thread for us on GGD until Kayla stepped in. Kayla, now an admin herself, has taken an extreme almost dictator like position on GGD – making it her mission to eradicate any slightest hint of “negativity”.

Why do we have a section on DD that GGD Mods cannot access?

Simple. When No Holds Barred existed, you had a 100% promise that you would not get into any trouble. With DD, that promise wasn’t completely there, as our members began to report unfair bias against them on GGD once they became DD regulars. In response to this, we decided to ban all GGD mods from our forum, because we felt they were again trying to police the internet. I later came up with a better solution, to allow GGD mods on DD, but to have a section they cannot access (DD VIP) so our members have that guarantee that they can still have a place they can communicate without being infracted. Which let me remind you, is what No Holds Barred was all about.

WELL NO SHIT. The same thing happened in NHB on your own old forum. Again, this just sounds like you are trying to police other websites, which you have personally told me you do not do (a lie). It wouldn’t even surprise me if Kayla supported SOPA – given how far she goes out of her way to try and censor other websites. As for voting people off, I have never supported that action, and even made a post to denounce it. All people were later unbanned (included Tiffa and Sabertooth who were “voted off”). Stop spouting information when you don’t even visit our forum, it’s getting kind of annoying. Oh and you are fully welcome to sign up and come chat with us here – instead of pretending to know things that you do not – but something tells me that you maybe afraid we will rip you to shreds.

We are not an anti-GGD forum. We were founded so we can give YOUR USERS an outlet of free speech. It’s why we have regulars who post everyday, because they like the fact they have a place to freely express themselves and say whatever they would like to say. There’s not even an Adult Section on GGD anymore, so stop pretending like you guys are so much more mature than us when you go out of your way to remove all maturity. Another small example that annoyed me was a thread I made on GGD about MTN. It was by far the most logical and most thought out thread to ever exist in the Charts section, and everything I said came out true. Despite this, one of your mods closed it solely because it was “too negative”.

So now on GGD, you can’t even be slightly critical against Gaga. That’s a very unhealthy environment to dwell in, because you are just helping the stereotype that “Little Monsters” are nothing but a cult.

It’s very hard for me to take the things that Kayla says seriously because she is running GGD into a toilet filled with mindlessness and delusion. And that’s all I have to say about this one.
